  • Welcome :D
The UG sets are surprisingly small, You might miss them if you don't look carefully! they are on the UG stand with all the shampoos and stuff. Or they may just have all gone to Bootsers, you've got to be quick

    Thank you! :D

I looked at all the shelf prices to find anything for £9.99 but nothing at all in that price range. Going to try another branch tomorrow as I think I need them :rotfl:.

Some people didn't think they were worth even the 2 for £6 price.....
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

I think they are great - I have stocked up on five boxes alongside the shampoo's - my hair is really curly and thick and can be a bit dry and it has made it really soft and shiny, it is difficult to get a shine on curly hair. But, there was a poster on here who wasn't impressed (can't remeber who:rolleyes: )

Why not get one set with a shampoo or conditioner and give it a try and get more if it suits your hair?

In my branch there was a promotional stand a little bit away from the hair product section, and they were on there along with all the other UG shampoos etc., not on the normal shelves.

So is it like an overnight hair serum? I love the UG range but haven't tried these. I have straight hair but it can be quite dry and prone to a bit of frizz near the roots so i'm wondering whether this would be good to try? x

Not tried it yet, but instructions are to apply to damp hair and leave for 2-5 mins then rinse and style as normal. If you have problem dry or damaged hair it suggests using a conditioner first, then the elixir. hth

Picked up two mini Ruby & Millie brush sets today in Newcastle (about the size of the metallics eye compact and has four little travel size brushes in) for 2.50 each - free with my pinkie. They were at the end of the R&M stand with the last chance to buy items.

    Hello everyone,

I'm really pleased with myself. I popped into our little Boots today to get lunch...made it up to £5 with a couple of clearance items and got a Pinky. As I never shop in the little one I just assumed they gave out till spits like the big Boots. So then went to the big Boots and picked up the mirror I wanted. Took it to the SS tills and put it through with the TS and the pinky and got it for £9.99 plus another TS. Then looking around I notice another TS behind the bags so I "wombled" that one too....so £9.99 but £10 till spits back ha ha.

Also spotted some cheap Timotei conditioner reduced to about 57p but have so much Trevor Sorbie fillling up m bottom drawer it's untrue.

I would really like to try the mens no 7deal with the free GWP but after having a really good look instore I couldn't see it anywhere, so I asked the girl on the no 7 till and she said that it is not out until next week. I said I thought that that was the women's one and she told me it was both. Very confused now. Am surprised that such a big store doesn't have the GWP.

But happy with my mirror anyway...that's another one of the 50 people on my Christmas list sorted...not very MSE hey!

Any of you cutey pies know if they have that UG Elixir thing (£9.99 each) in the Leeds Albion store? I've searched high and low with the help of a few SA's and didn't find a single one. Cheers.
