    Hello everyone,

Thanks for your support. I'm back today and still in one piece.

To fill you in a little on why I was a wee bit of a mess yesterday... I sent a text message intended for my mum to my OH... It said something along the lines of "He doesn't understand why I'm upset and I don't underastand why I care any more" I was referring to a trip we were planning to his friend but taken out of context? ouch! Feel free to now point and laugh...

I worried about it all day.

meanwhile he thought it was hilarious... Next time he could tell me? save me the worry perhaps??

    Ok, so my list

    Today I have/will

    - check the bank (pay day on Friday)
    - check my mobile spend
    - charge phone at work
    - continue with my course homework
    - visit my friend (saving electricity in my house)
    - load the dishwasher and set timer for E7
    - load washing machine and press go before bed
    - NSD
    - store cupboard meals
    - drive economically
    - read library book (so I can return this one on time!)
    - get diary up to date
    - decide what I am buying people for Christmas

I hope everyone is ok and those that are feeling rubbish start to feel better soon.

Oh kt, you're not the first and won't be the last to send a text to the wrong person. Sounds like no damage done, so stop worrying! Good socks, by the way :T

I sent a text to a work colleague instead of my best friend asking for the serial number of their oven not so long ago....I was picking up a part for the oven...colleague still thinks I am some weird kind of stalker :rotfl:

It is a slightly abnormal request. I can see why it would earn you funny looks

Since I did that people have been coming up with many stories for me. One person was telling me the story of their best friend who sent a text to the wrong girlfriend! Still wondering how he wriggled out of that one...

I've always been super-careful with texts as I use my phone for work as well as personal stuff. I have messed up with emails though. Once I intended to forward a message from a rather irritating and picky person in a partner organisation to my boss, with a slightly rude comment added by me. I was horrified to discover that I had pressed 'reply' instead of 'forward' a few minutes later when she rang me! One grovelling apology later ....
