    Evening :)

I'm feeling a bit better and more positive I think. I actually managed to cook the kids something proper for dinner today (chicken steaks, sweetcorn, brocolli and jacket potato), which is better than the rubbish I've been feeding them for the last couple of days. The kitchen is clean and the living room not far off. My bedroom is also done, so I just need to give the bathroom a quick clean tomorrow and tidy Ryan's room.

I need to start looking for a car.....it's a strangely tricky job to car hunt without a car. I also really need to do some food shopping.

But I'm getting there - starting to feel more organised and thinking that actually I might just be able to handle things.

Also, I've just heard today that one of my closest friends has had the all clear from a breast cancer scare, which has maybe put things in perspective a bit.

Still noooo idea what to do about work though.

    I need sofa space too.

I found out today that my friend has been cheating on his wife.

I am gutted. utterly utterly gutted.

    bloody men always disappoint.

sorry I KNOW that's a rabid generalisation but honestly I am sick of the lot of them and their bloody inability to keep their trousers up.

    wish I was a lesbian.

Sounds like a dangerous place to be a man ( but I think I must be a lesbian cos I find women straaangely attractive:rolleyes: ) but can I squeeeze in on the sofa action so as not to feel cast aside along with all the philandering wasters??
    :D:D stay wonky :D:D

....one-way ticket to Portugal booked !
  • I just CANNOT believe he did it I really can't

it worries me - obviously cos he is a horrible dishonest person and yet again I clearly have useless judgement about men.

I thought he was a decent guy. bar steward radar strikes again - mine I mean I have an uncany way of picking them out, thinking they are nice and then getting a slap in the face.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Snaggles, are things sorted out with your folks? Could your dad help with the car search?

Glad to hear your friend is ok ;)

Yes, I've managed to sort things out with them thanks. They did offer to take me car hunting at the weekend BUT then proceeded to tell me that the cars I was thinking about were all wrong.

So I'm not sure. Another friend has offered to come and look with me but he can't go until the end of next week.

Snags, I wished I lived nearer I would take you car shopping...I quite like it.

I rang the doc about my ear and asked if they do syringing and they said yes, but you have to put drops in it for seven days!! So I have put more drops in....

I am totally deaf in one ear - it doesn't hurt its just quite annoying as I can feel the pressure building up.....

  • Maybe your head will pop sammy? coooool, lol!

    Snags,
Offer stands for Scott to help with car-we're off this weekend as well so can see what we can do-if you trust our judgement? We can always drive up in 2 cars and come back in 1...

IA-stop being a martyr hun and accept help-that's what friends are for ok?

Buffy-remember there are 2 sides to every story-whilst I feel sad for your friend, until we can walk a mile in someone's shoes, it's easy to judge and blame...I hope that doesn't sound harsh, but I know I have done things I'm not proud of but it felt right at the time. Again, nuff said...
