The interest paid into the internet savings account on 31/3/09 was paid in 2 parts, one for the standard interest rate and the other for the bonus interest rate. The clubcard bonus points should have been added to your clubcard account.

:embarasseinterest rate down to 1.5%+(1.5 %bonus ) now

The bonus was 2.5% - thought they had to keep the bonus the same, only the interest rate was variable?

For those with the bonus, 3% isn't a bad rate; I certainly can't be bothered to open yet another new account. If it drops any lower (unlikely now, I'd say) I'll move it, but it's fine for now.

Just got letter from Tesco advising rate cut (from 28/05/09) to 1.25% + 1.5% bonus = 2.75%.

Disappointing. Whilst it was 3% it was okay, but may have to look elsewhere now. :(

clearly not looking at attracting new customers at 1.25%(1.5% being bonus).
2.75% for easy access appears still alright comparing on moneysupermarket.

Can't cope with 2+% being a good rate, it took me long enought to adjust to 3+% being OK - so its gotta go somewhere else even if its short term
