difference in oil comparison prices on the web

I have been checking oil prices over the last 11 days to see if the price is dropping.At the moment a website called heatingoil.co.uk is the cheapest at 39.26pence per litre qouting on a 1000 litres. By comparison boilerjuice.com are quoting 53.3pence. This seems to be quite a difference!
They appear to be the cheapest at the moment but require payment upfront. H:rolleyes: as anyone used HEATINGOIL.CO.UK?

I have just started a blog about heating oil here: cheapest-heating-oil.com

You should be aware that many of the heating oil websites are not as independent as they might seem and they hide the fact that they are owned by a fuel company.

For example heatingoil.co.uk is owned by Bayfords, oilseeker.co.uk is owned by Brogan Fuels and directoil.co.uk is owned by Watson Petroleum.

Just thought I'd share the fact with Jilly that oilpricecheck.co.uk is a totally independent way of checking prices. Problem with it is they don't give the price per litre just quantities but I like the free pricing sheet you can download from the site.
