  • Sweet! just signed up... not much to use the 1000 points on except for some lightbulbs and a couple of items in health & beauty. i might buy or sign-up to a few things in the shops to boost my points total - really want to get the penguin torch for 1070 points.

If you take part in the Carboncreditz freebie, also on the Freebies board, you get enough points to get a penguin torch from the Carboncreditz website.

Sorry correct myself, you can still do carbon offsetting, plant a square metre of grass and 250points gets you a discount voucher >> http://bestrewards.co.uk/sys/promotions/index.php?promoter=GRFDO << clicking the link lets you see the venues/daysout... nothing through the post is free anymore though x

  • Oh well, in the end I spent my 880 points on 0.5 tonnes of carbon. Does any one know how this will arrive, or what it looks like??

Those who missed out, you could always bag your points while they are available, they should stay on your account, and once they restock then revisit the site to order. You could save it to 'Favourites' or bookmark it so you remember.

  • Just did some carbon offsetting... not the most exciting thing in the world but managed 2 lots of the following (made me feel slightly green :starmod: ):

"Offset The Carbon Emissions Of An Average UK Flight (0.14 tonnes for 2 x people)"

    all for 980 points...
