if you are on Talk1 and getting free eveinig calls them yes they may well be ending it . My parents had been on Talk 1 and had got there free evening calls extended for another year . Three months into the second year they received a letter with there bill saying there free calls had ended .I was told it was a computer error but as the plan was no longer available they couldnt offer the same plan .
I asked for Talk2 with free calls and I got it and I got £10 credit added to my parents bill .
If TT say the talk1 with free evening calls is not available ask for tak2 with free calls .

Our package (same as OP) was due to expire 14th Jan, but we got a letter this week telling us it will be extended for another year. No need to haggle!

If they are giving this deal out and you haven't had it, then ask for it.

Now all I need is to make friends with a random American and an Aussie and I can bleed 'em dry!

Really? Do you know what package you're on now? I.e. the name, Talk 1 + WOrld or is it Talk 2??

I'm going to phone them tomorrow probably and try to get it extended for another year. But I've already tried once and the guy had no idea what was going on. It seems like pot luck whether you get a competent advisor!

The letter we received did not actually call it a specific Talk Plan, just said they were extending our free calls for another year. We were previously on Talk 1 + World.

The letter starts "Who said all good things must come to an end?"

Since I have never used the USA / Canada / Australia free calls, I guess they know they are not going to be out of pocket with that option. Plus, they gave me £20 for initial referals, and that only ran out within the last couple of weeks!! SO maybe they are hoping I will stick around and start using the phone in the day - no chance...!!!!!
