Identification for married ladies

My wife applied for an ISA transfer and she needed 3 forms of ID.
The passport was alright, but all the utility bills are in my name and the others are online bills which are not accepted. Her driving licence is the old type, so not accepted. We did in the end just manage it.
In a time where all bill are mostly sent online and we do not have the conformation of her address it is very difficult.
For me its easy.
So how do you married ladies get on? Do you have any problems?

I only even have been asked for 2 forms. I have my passport and driving license (card type). Credit card statements are posted, so I use those as well and we have bills in both names - water/gas/electricity in mine and BT in my husband's. Actually, I think our EON bill comes in joint names!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0

Yes it can prove a bit of a pain some times !! most institutions can do a electronic check on you if they want but you have to be on the electoral register and have lived at your address a while.
A PAYE notice of coding is always useful0 -
The requirement is for 2 forms of ID. Perhaps its one for luck here
One for address, one for name. Different products do have different levels of requirements though depending on the risk of fraud or money laundering.
Old style driving licences are fine. Anyone not accepting that is not complying with the industry standard (which they are entitled to do).I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). My wifes driving licence is the old type, they wanted on with the photo on it.0

Electoral Roll for address one!
My interview next week wanted proof of address, but I did everything e-billing so I had nothing as I only just moved here. They said TV licence, direct debit confirmation are ok though, not sure if banks would accept that though?0 -
My wife normally use her passport, bank statement and home & contents (in joint names) insurance document as ID.
Also, maybe worth changing at least one utility bill to your wifes name.0 -
I have no passport, on line bills are in DH name and old style driving licence.Doing voluntary work overseas for as long as it takes .......
My DD might make the odd post for me0
