I changed from BT last year. They called to ask why I was leaving but they didn't offer me any incentive to stay, they just wanted to know why I was leaving.
Might work differently if you call them rather than wait for their 'retention' call.£2 Coin Savers Club (Christmas)- £86£1 Jar (Christmas)- £29Christmas Vouchers Saved: £1450 -
ive just rang bt they have offered me 6 months free, then i will pay £22.99 per month afterwards on a 18 month contract. also includes free calls on my landline, and my hub. and they will also send out the new bt hub, so in effect ive gone from paying £24.99 to £15.32 per month so i reckon its a good deal.0

rhodyate, when you say FREE calls on landline do you mean they're giving you "BT Unlimited Anytime Plan" for your ordinary phone as here...
http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/consumerProducts/displayCategory.do?categoryId=CON-TOG-OPT-R1
I'm currently on the Unlimited Anytime Plan for my ordinary phone costing £17.70 per month inc VAT.
For broadband, I'm on Option 1 costing £12.99 per month but have just come to end of 12 month contract. Rang them and they said I could have another 12-months on Option 1 for £9.49 per month. Anyone know if this is best deal I'll get?
I don't need more than Option 1 for broadband as am relatively light-user.
I haven't yet got an internet phone connected to hub.0
