Help - Time saving tips/gagets/appliances for housework please.....

I have just started to NOT iron my son's school shirts. They are M&S non iron cotton mix & I am drying them out start away. He wears a jumper over it so it is not on show anyway. Will see if during the spring/summer if I continue to not iron his school shirts.
I also buy everyone a different colour sock whrer each person has just one colour sock in the family. So my son just has black socks & I don't have to spend time matching.
Do you have any big & small time saving tips with the house work? Any good time saving appliances/gagets that REALLY save time? Is there anything that you don't do that others do that saves you time?

Fold Pyjama tops into one of the pyjama legs, then fold, keeps matching sets together and no hunting around at bedtime for the other half of a pair of PJ's. It makes a smaller bundle too, so saves space.
Fold matching bed sets into one of the pillow cases for exactly same reason.0 -

What's an iron?

Don't wear things that need ironing unless it's essential (weddings, funerals etc)

If you have bedding sets, fold cover/sheet/pillowslip and place in matching pillowslip. Saves hunting down the back of the avalanche cupboard when you change the bed for 'the one that got away'..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0 -
Matching Pj's what's that. I bought a big set & you can match any bottom with top.“…the ‘insatiability doctrine – we spend money we don’t have, on things we don’t need, to make impressions that don’t last, on people we don’t care about.” Professor Tim Jackson

Iron?!? - Oh yeah - got one in the cupbaord somewhere...only sees daylight a couple of times a year if I'm lucky!
Drying dishes - left on their own they dry quite nicely thankyou!
My new rule is that I only wash socks in pairs - they have to be paired up then they go into the laundry basket, or that is where they will stay.....only just introduced this one so will have to let you know if it works out, but I get so fed up with looking for the odd socks....
Squirt of cheapie liquid bleach round the loo before I leave for work in the morning - then flush when I get home. Hardly ever have to do any other cleaning of the loo than that. Similar with washbasin & stardrops - squirt with diluted stardrops every few days, leave it all day, rinse when I get home.
