I have replied to your other post about your disabilities earlier on today Jox, i do not think you need to worry about JSA if you are suffering as much as my husband is who has the same disease as you Incapacity will not be a problem providing you get a sick note from your GP, why not ring the job centre about the mistake over the forms and in the mean time go to your GP and get a sick note?

There is far too much mud slinging on this Forum especially on the benefits section, i do think that people do try and find faults in most posters here but in general people are trying to help, even if they point out something earlier that was said differently, in the other post i have read by the OP it pretty much states the same as this one but sometimes people do post one thing that was completely opposite to what they said a few months earlier because they have lied (either on here or to the system) but from what i have read about the OP i feel he is genuine as he has described pretty much the same things as my husband has suffered through the same disease.

I`m sorry Mrs K but you are wrong, incapacity will be a problem as the OP hasnt worked full time during the qualifying period,it will be an even bigger problem as from next monday for new claimants incapacity wont exist in its present form....
I`d also add that the OP has had alot of help over the last few days on here from a number of people without a word of thanks,as for mudslinging on the benefits forum once again I disagree with you 99% of the time 99% of posters are helpful and understanding

I did actually say people were trying to be helpful so you clearly didnt read that!
in general people are trying to help
Your problem is that the OP hasn't thanked people for advice, how does that equate to your post being aimed at me? I think your problem is with the wrong person because just like you all i did was advise the OP that if he is ill then JSA shouldn't be what he is claiming whether he has paid enough contribrutions to get IB or not. And just for you Woodbine i've edited my previous post so that you cannot 'nit pick' because i missed out 'applying for IB shouldn't be a problem', that isn't quite the same as saying you will get IB! But he will get some benefit, if he is ill then JSA obviously isn't the benefit he needs to be on.

What i did actually say to the OP was not to worry about JSA as if he is far too ill they will not expect him to look for work at the moment.
