Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour.
Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Search for property by price drop
Comments

does it only register drops in the time youve been a member, or if i registered today would it tell me about details about prices that where dropped, for example, last month?
I think once you join, if you start saving properties you're interested in then you'll get alerts of price drops on those particular properties fromt hat point forward.
But searching for property by price drop isn't affected by when you join, my wife joined yesterday and she's doing searches by price drop so I guess she must be able to access all the historical data.0 -
I just could not get on with globrix, my fault I'm sure. Today I managed to get property Bee on my Mac, (was having probs before) and I love it. New toy to play with.
I also use Home.co, it's good for price drops too.0 -
On property snake, you can click on a tab to see the latest drops for properties in the area you are searching.0

Property Bee
You have to be using Firefox browser.
Load Firefox and go to http://www.property-bee.com
There's a link on there to install the plugin. Click that and it installs automatically
You do need to register with property bee so you can see all the work of the others in gathering the data/price drops (they don't email you anything though, so not flogging you stuff)
Then go to rightmove and it all happens by magic.0 -
