Vodafone stop the clock
Options
I bought my son a good phone on the Vodafone with the stop the clock deal; giving you 60 minutes in evening and weekend for 3 mins off your contract time unlimited times.. i.e. 200 minutes contract could get you 2 hrs every night with some daytime left eg 60 x 2 = 6mins x 30days = 180mins away from 200mins.
My son may not be as diligent with the phone, but the bills I got was £155, and while I queried it (took some time to get the right person and the right response) and in the meantime the next one was £188 !!!  Trying to decipher the calls is a nightmare and when I spoke to them they said the bills were correct
The phone is now locked away..
Has anyone else had a problem ???

Was he phoning before 7.30pm in the week .STC runs from 7.30pm and 7.30 am M to F and all weekends.?
Was he phoning normal 01/02 and mobile numbers, which are included or Premium and 0845/0870 which are not?
Did he keep his calls to less then 60 minutes? otherwise they start charging at normal rates for all minutes after the first 60.
Was he sending texts which were not free?0 -
