  • Well done Andan - I seem to have rid - sorry - um - been fortunate for the children to both be out - and at pals houses - still working, inbetween giving dodgy gardening advice on the greenfingered site here - ahem - gardener at heart this science milarky is a bit hard.

HOw does it work if you we get you to do a virtual pamper party? If I were near enough I'd definately book you to do one for me, you sound so dedicated!!

Austria looking forward to it now, if I go I hear later today or tomorrow - woo hoo - hope its not all pellets and factories - (assuming it is!!)

Shetland money in, do I get a takeaway - I know there is no need - just wanton lust!!!
excellent money saving from more productive use of time writing up - not convincing eh??

Well done on those today able to actually 'focus'..........I can help with virtual gardening, SM can look after us in our senior years (i think?) and Andan can pamper us whilst others let us ride (virtually) their horses and write us lovely plays - we have elves, artists and many talented folk here - I feel richer by the second!! The rest of you talented lot are of course most appreciated as well, I jsut can't remember what you do!

Nice to see you back Piq hope the cotton wool brain soon goes away.
Will send out lots of positive (and cheap) thought tomorrow for the mot :D Mine is due December but think I may get it done early next month in case it needs anything doing.I have been lucky so far it is 10 years old and have only had to replace tyres and brakepads in all that time - hope it continues:D

Austria is lovely Fay, drink's a bit expensive, so watch that one, unless someone else is buying :rotfl:I'm sure with your gorgeous sock collection, there'll be a queue of suiters...

I wish I could have taken you all out with me today, galloping through the crispy autumn leaves with the sun shining through, it truly was a good to be alive feeling, and sort of free :D It was my birthday treat from the horse, he didn't argue with me once about where we were going. And that makes a change...

I've filled in my spreadsheet and I don't like the results. I need to crack on with more ebay sales. I have masses of vintage clothes in the loft, must go and get some down. Where do you get enthusiasm from?

Thanks Sophiesmum, this is the first time anything major has needed doing and the car is 14! so I suppose I've done well out of. Just expense that's not needed at the moment - when is it??

As the sun sinks slowly, my nose is blocking up for an uncomfortable evening...

  • Good evening all!!! Well a spending day for me. I got some bits in primark, new Pjs and funky socks. I also bought some Me to you animals. Bad i know with my having to get the new comp but i needed a cheer me up! And i wasnt too bad.

I worked out too with what i am owed in wages for overtime, and the 4 overtime shifts ive got coming up the comp is paid for with no affect on my budget plans!
So i could afford todays shopping trip basically! But honestly now tomo its back to normal, no spends other than basics and xmas stuff now and a little xmas treat for me! How is everyone else doing? My new purple sparkle stars socks are on!Only 2 pounds in Primark! I am struggling though with motivation these days. Its such hard work keeping to things. I think i was doin okay until the computer died!

lysasparkles - hope you start to feel better tomo
Andan, hope the assignment gets done, im going to stay up late and do some reading for mine.
Luckily ive blagged tomo off work as leave so i can get lots done tomo and the washing too!!
fayjmck - poor sheep, hopefully a nice new lamb will be born soon to make up
    !
I do like the idea of the virtual pamper party! Id love a real one, andan i wish you were down in south london to throw one! Its miserably cold here at the mo!

Well thats my day, feel terrible that ive done no uni work so going strait to it now, best luck with the TMA anatomy assignment too!!

  • Hi Guys
Hope the birthday went well Piq - sending you a birthday squish!
KtJazz poor you, hope something sorts itself out xx
Tallie go you on the computer front - if you're not looking for a posh one, what about freecycle they are on ours alot? Excellent sock purchase.

Piq - enthusiasm, um not sure where I get mine from, here? Um trying to hold my corner? either that or a glass of red - but I am attempting to cut that down, so I look to my socks for inspiration. Or I paint my toenails silly colours, or wear pigtails.

As I am off on a dept trip with folk who don't even see my socks as a fun statement - I reckon I will stick on the water in Austria if I get to go!!
