have you tried SEUS before sending it in for repair?0

no i havent, but i have a felling it my be the crap software vodafone put on the phone that causes the problems wish service providers would just leave phones alone and send them out as they come from SE0

I am so wanting this phone but daren't get it as i've seen reviews with this problem on all networks. After all the problems i've had with my son's SE W580 i daren't risk it so will be interested to see if there's a solution to this. Is it the phones or the networks at fault?0

owls4eva its a great phone does everything i need and in a tiny package, keys can be a bit fiddly at times, only problem is the ones i have mentioned happened before with my k700i on vodafone so i think i will be keeping away from SE on vodafone in the future got my eye on a n950

When i was looking at the reviews of this phone i did come across a few people saying that if you turned off the 3g and bluetooth when not using them then the phone tended to work faster and not freeze. Might be worth a try

you can debrand it (via davinciteam), but it will cost and you will loose the warranty.0 -
well and update thats the phone in for the third time in less than 2 months was told they will probably just replace it with a the same one, which i asked if it was possible to get a swap to a different phone as why would i want the same model and make i have had all the problems with and there answer was no this was in the vodafone shop, does anyone know or already done if it is possible to change phones completely0

Another update the replacement phone is turning on and off itself also, called 191 and they said all they can do still is replace it with another w890i or i could contact SE myself and try and get a referral from them to get a swap, so i call SE and guess what they came out with the same as vodafone send it to us and we will try and repair it if we cant we will replace it with wait a minute another w890i, again i said why would i want another of the phone that i have had 2 of both that were faulty there answer we only do a replacement or repair.
Also i was under the assumption that it was down to vodafone to sort it as they sold me the phone not to suggest that i call SE myself. Its not on paying a monthly charge for a phone which does not operate properly.
Can anyone help me here?0
