Suggest you do some daily meter readings. For example:

    - overnight
    - daytime when you're out for twelve hours
    - evening
    - weekend daytime

I'm wondering if you are being billed for someone else's usage. Is the meter within your flat or in a communal area along with other meters?

It should be very easy to turn off the few things you say are normally left on 24/7, and to see if the meter is still turning. If it is, then something's wrong.
  • Nope the meters are contained in the flat. I've started taking readings at certain points throughout the day and i'll start unplugging some things on certain days and see how i get on..
    Thanks

Just looked at my spreadsheet for my electricity usage from 13th Feb to today I have used 1402 units of electric (Living in an all electric house).

In the last 42 days I have used about 17 units a day, this is mainly as I switched the heating on a couple of weeks back.

Things I found take a surprisingly amount of electricity are the TV/Digibox setup. I used to leave them on standby but you'll be surprised how how you save by switching off at the wall
