Thanks for that, I wasn't quite sure how to put it! I'm going to suggest that head office look to getting approval from BUAV or PETA or someone like that - would be another selling point that they're cruelty free.0

Well I have started asking around if anyone wants to buy anything and nothing yet apart from some definite no's as everything is too overpriced apparently. I have two orders from my abysmal party on Saturday but only comes to £66 and I don't want to pay the admin fee. At this rate I might end up putting my order on my friend's party that she is holding tomorrow which means I will lose my measely £6 hostess commission:-(
I'm not a happy bunny. My leader has arranged to ring me tomorrow night and at the moment I have no idea what to say to her because right now all I want to do is throw the towel in and keep my lovely kit products for myself.Lightbulb moment: 14 May 2008Debt free date: April 2014DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 188Nightowl Member No 160 -
Just Me - I totally understand how you feel, that was me a week or so back. The only thing I can say is talk to your leader tomorrow and just tell her how you feel - hopefully she'll understand. You might be able to have some time off if it helps? I still haven't got any parties, but I'm just going to try loads of things and if it doesn't get going by the end of the year, I'll call it a day. I'm lucky that I have the time as I'm not really working at the moment - maybe it's just a bit too much with a full time job (I don't know what your job is)?0

Although my paid job is not full time I do work nights (3 per week) and am also studying and volunteering twice a week in a nursery to supplement my studies as well as being a wife and mum, so I'm a busy busy girl which is why I don't have the time or inclination to commit to it enough to make it successful. I wonder if its possible to just wait until Christmas and see how people feel then about buying stuff.
Oh and LOL at "time off" - I held one party in May which was my own with only 3 guests!!! And no parties planned for the near (or far) future!Lightbulb moment: 14 May 2008Debt free date: April 2014DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 188Nightowl Member No 160 -

Hi Just Me
Does your friend live quite close/do you see her alot? If so get her order sent to your house that way you can order something with your hostess commission, that's what i do then sort it out and deliver it to the other hostess.0 -
Yay!
I've got tables booked for a Ladies Pamper Night in a couple of weeks and a Christmas Shopping Evening in November. With luck I'll be on my way to booking some parties.0 -
What does everyone think of the new "wedding flyer"I get paid to party!:rotfl:0
-
I think it's a good idea, but I suspect it would only really appeal to those having small weddings or spending big bucks! That said, it's a different angle on recruiting.0
