Welcome Tilly, hope it goes well for you.
Can I just check if I can have a web-page with my details on it? I want to do some advertising, but I need a website for it (needs to be my own for reciprocal linking). So long as I don't put the Partylite logo on it am I ok? Can I actually say it's Partylite?0 -

I am thinking of applying to do partylite, but where do you guys advertise parties etc as a lot of my friends really cannot afford it. I am a total convert since I went to a party a few weeks ago but they all say 'but you can get x amount of candles form the pound shop' and stuff like that so I'm never going to convert them.
I probably have 1 friend that could host the party for me and invite her mates which would be good.
Also if I did sign up and couldn't get many parties how long do they give you before they make you pay for the stuff? Do you have to pay for brochures etc and how often do they bring a new brochure out?
Think that's it for now, thanks in advance guys.0 -
Honeymum, I've sent you a PM0

I am down in High Wycombe half the week so if you want anymore information just let me know...
Re the I could get more at the £1 shop for a lot cheaper...once they smell and see the quality they wont go back.
The catalogues you get some in your starter kit. With the starter kit you dont pay for it but you dont earn comission till you have earnt £300. The comission earned on this would have been £60, so basically you get £300 worth of candles for £60. There is no time limit on this.
Anything else just let me know, I am loving working for Partylite, helps that I LOVE the products0 -
Meant to say you can advertise online, in shops, ask friends, attend craft fairs, wedding fairs pretty much anything you can think of aslong as you arent selling on the internet, you can advertise there till your hearts content though.
Also you dont need to have a minimum amount of parties each month, aslong as your team leader knows you are still actively looking for parties thats fine. If you would like me to come and see you to explain some bits I can next week when Im down.0 -

Pants - got nothing in the near or far future. Hoping to get a couple of orders tomorrow to add to last Tuesday's show, luckily the two guests who ordered are friends and don't mind waiting for their stuff.Lightbulb moment: 14 May 2008Debt free date: April 2014DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 188Nightowl Member No 160
