If you don't want to make it a career then there is no harm in carrying on doing it when something comes along - you will find after summer holidays with new catalogue lots of more interest - people wanting gifts for xmas.

Why not speak to your leader and tell her you are going to leave it for a while and then wait until xmas to see how you get on!

Thanks candlegirl your comments are really helpful - I'm not wanting to make a career out of it either i'm just doing it as i like the products so much!! However i thought there was some issue about being activated again if you have a few months off - is that right?

I'm hoping after the summer in the lead up to xmas i'll get a few decent parties making it worthwhile but i'm no9t in this for the long haul if most parties are between £100-£200!!

And I'm kind of nervous. I really don't know what too expect. Just worried that I wont make enough my first show too pay for my starter kit. Thats really alot of money. I'm just scared that I won't be able too make it...

Those are natural feelings but please don't get too scared as if you don't clear your kit it just carries on until you do - and if for some reason you don't clear your kit and it doesn't work for you then all you need to do is hand back your kit.

There now what is scary about that - chill, enjoy and trust me once you have cleared your kit you will have a blast doing this job:j:beer:

Its my party tonight and tbh I'm dreading it. As far as I know I only have 3 people coming so it might just end up as a night in with a couple of friends.

Not brilliant I'm afraid. Well I had a good time with 3 friends (one of whom cancelled but then uncancelled because she felt bad lol). Made about £65 in sales. I will chase a few people who said they were interested in buying stuff but won't see them until next week. Could possibly get a party or two from last night.

I'm kind of half ready to throw the towel in, depends if anyone books a June party!

OK all my party is tomorrow and I was just wondering - should I be concerned I haven't had any contact with my consultant in weeks? To be fair I've had problems as moved and so haven't had email but my sister has emailed her twice for me and explained that I don't have internet access. The first time she got a response but the second one (around 3 weeks ago) she still hasn't had a response to. It was only asking about the lighters to see if they were available and I think requesting that she bring a specific candle if she had it (the wood-effect ones) so nothing major but haven't had a response or a call. Tried calling but couldn't get through yesterday. Am I just getting worried over nothing? Don't want to go to all this effort (got around £200 sales I think) and find that she doesn't turn up!
Never give up the dream!
