PartyLite - (Hints & Tips)

OK I have another question. When I booked my party I had a choice of gifts and stupidly went for the wine instead of the candle lighter. Would I be able to buy a candle lighter from my show if I ask the consultant to bring some? Also how much are they as they are not in the book?
The candle lighters are not for public sale - consultant's only can order these and usually give them away to special hostess's but Im sure she can order you one!I get paid to party!:rotfl:0 -

My party has been cancelled :-( but she wants to rearrange as she has been let down with people cancelling but with genuine reasons. I hopefully have also someone who was going that also wants her own party fingers crossed.0

I think I really need some reassurance. It seems like at the moment all I am doing is paying Partylite for stuff like this £3 admin charge, the booking gifts and postage and packing on anything I want to order. This is not what I anticipated happening. I have no bookings for the near (or even far) future and am seriously contemplating throwing the towel in. I don't want to be paying £3 a month when I'm not even earning anything. I'm afraid I'm in much the same situation as you, so can't really offer any support. Have you talked to your leader? Did you clear your kit? I've still got about £75 to go.
Have you tried putting any posters in local shops? Or a stall at a school fair?0 -

I'm in a similar situation. i've cleared my kit - my first 2 parties were great. The problem I have is getting the bookings close in so i am getting parties but they are quite spread out and also despite hostess coaching havn't had lots of people at them or have had lots of people but not with any money to spend.
The thing is with booking gifts etc you can sell them eventually at more than what you bought them for so you will make a profit on them and in any business you do have to invest a bit at the beginning but with all our kit you can sell it off. In fact if each month you only took out the guest and hostess specials and some booking gifts at the end of every month you could sell off those items to buy the ones for the next month.
Check the £3 thing - I thought this was only deducted if you had earned that month if you havn't earned I don't think it comes off0 -
Hows everyone doing, Ive got four parties lined up, one was the one that cancelled last week. Ive got two this month and two in June. I really need to get some more lined up, am really hoping for new bookings at those parties though. I have signed up for conference, so will be there and not know anyone, am rather nervous. Am thinking of buying some of the hostess gifts so people can see what they are getting for friends booking parties, does anyone else do this, does it help encourage them.0
