  • Hi

Glad to have found a PartyLite thread! I'm a new consultant - had my starter party last weekend which cleared my kit and made a bit extra but only 1 booking which isn't till April! 3 others said they might have a party but they need to check when would be suitable (& it wouldn't be anytime soon) or if friends would be interested!!! Now think i could entice them with the April offer of 36% credit but really need some bookings for March as if I got 2/3 parties could potentially bonus and get my brite start bonus which would be great.

My leader has asked me to do a charity event for her on Tuesday so that may get me some bookings and she'll double book any March weekends if there is a demand so i can get parties but it's the not having anything in the diary i don't like - just want to get going properly!

Also my friend in america is keen to start PartyLite - I presume this wouldn't count as a sponsor as she's in a different country - is that right?

I know it's ok to sponsor as soon as we start but do i have enough experience?

Thanks and looking forward to chatting more - your experiences are really inspiring

Hiya, marsbarcake. You are correct that your friend in America wouldn't count as one of your sponsors, unfortunately!! I'm sure your diary will soon fill with the March and April offers - who could resist hostess special reed diffusers in March?????

    Hi - Welcome!

I know how frustrating it is not to have dates in your diary.

What I suggest is pour yourself a glass of wine - pick up the phone and call everyone who didn't come to your party telling them about the special offers in March and also asking them to help get you started - all they can do is say No!

Use the fundraiser event for getting plenty contacts - I use a candle questionaire which has about 4 questions and this helps me get parties.

Hope this helps and if not please talk to your upline leader as she/he will help you.

  • Thanks everyone that is great - Think my leader is giving me a questionnaire for the fundraiser but have managed to find one if not.

I see that April hostess has to have 2 bookings to get the 36% see if my April booking managed to get a friend to book and have party in March would that count as its before her party?

It wouldn't - the bookings have to be in the 30/60 days rule after the party.
