  • Hiya, I am looking to up my income, as I am a newly pregnant and want something that is flexible, I have looked into party planning before, but Ann Summers doesnt take my fancy as I think it has become very common in my area and things such as Virgin Vie and Body Shop don't appeal to me as Im really not very good with putting on make up etc So partylite may be something I could be comfortable with :D I'll try and read back on this thread and get abit more of a feel for it xxx

    Congrautlation on becoming pregnant!

I started PartyLite after my last little surprise was born (;)), as I needed more money but also needed flexibility due to having a large brood already!

I am now nearly 4 years later and loving it, can truly say it is a joy to go to my work at night, although can't say the same for my day job :(, I am now working to build my PartyLite business, so I can give up my day job which I hate.

Good luck with your decision, and if you need any help just shout!

    Hi All,

I have had loads of fun looking through these comments and reading about PartyLite, I'm looking at making a little extra income in my spare time, although I don't think this is for me. (I use to do VirginVie but been a student and working full time it's hard to fit parties in!)

I am however now wanting to have a look at a brochure and was just wondering if anyone on here was in the Leeds / Wakefield area? I would rather give any orders I may have to my fellow MSE's than just a consultant that is found online.

    Thanks all!

I have spoken to head office numerous times about BFPO (I'm a RAF wife) as I feel we are missing out on a huge amount of business but they cannot deliver to BFPO addresses unfortunately - I post stuff out to customers but that'd be too expensive to do it for every order as a consultant. Sorry, probably not the news you wanted to hear. :(

    Hi Chloe

I am not in Leeds but I do have a couple of my girls in that area,

  • Hi everyone

I'm looking for some advice and help, I have just enquired about becoming a party planner, the problem is I've only lived in this area for a few months and don't know anyone! I am planning leaflet drops and placing adverts in shops and the free adds paper, is it possible to build a business from this??

I am more than prepared to put in the work but I am feeling a little bit anxious about taking this on with no contacts within the community.
  • Hiya cats meow, do you have kids? Do you work? Family? Nieghbours? Your new hairdresser? Start with ANY contacts you have, or even use it as an icebreaker. Did you move far? Maybe you could use some contacts from your old area too? Whereabouts are you - someone might be able to give you some pointers for your area...
:D Skint but happy with my lovely family :D
