Hi
i've moved from Yorkshire to Ayr Scotland so its to far for friends and family to visit, but I am planning on sending down info to try and get them to order. I don't worked I'm self employed at the mo and my son goes to a tiny rural school. I don't have any neighbours as I live rurally as well I know this is going to be a challenge to get started but I figured it was worth a try!0 -

Ask the school if they are having a xmas fayre, look around all your local shops and put a little advert up, talk talk talk to anyone you meet.

Ayr - my home town!!!!! I'm hoping to move back there next year!!!! Good luck!!! I don't think you get much business by advertising if I'm being truly honest, just speak to everyone about it!
How's everyone doing with regards to trip? I'm getting there...............slowly but am not giving up.Murphy's No More Pies Club Member No. 680 -

I have held shows in the poorest of areas, and never had problems selling the products as they sell themselves!
The quality of the products are fab! You can buy cheap candles from lots of places, but they are just what they are, cheap rubbish, which are dipped in colour and scent, and mark your walls etc etc.
Our products are colured and fragranced all the way through and last so much longer than the stuff you buy in the shops.
£6.95 for a dozen tealights, so that work's out at 58p each which last for minimum 5 hours each, now when you work it out like that it is not expensive really!I get paid to party!:rotfl:0 -

Hello ladies!!
Can someone give me some advise on the Xmas fair thingy please?? If I ask the schools near me if I can have a table, how do you work it??
Do you sell things from the catalogue or do you already have the items there to sell?
If someone wants to buy from the catalogue, do you take payment there and then or wait until you can deliver it?
Do you sign a lot of new party hosts when doing this sort of thing?
Thanks,

Debt 1 = £700 - 1% = £7.00 - 28% :j
Debt 2 = £500 - 1% = £5.00 -33% :j
Debt 3 = £1900 - 1% = £19.00 - 2%
Debt 4 = £8000  - 1% = £80.00 - 0.5%0 -
