Hi everyone!!! Hope you're all well. I've been away since before conference and came home after V festival...world tour of England & Scotland...lol. Back to business now. Had pretty dire August, hoped to bonus but didn't but did manage to stay active which considering I was away for 25 days of it wasn't bad...lol. September is looking good so fingers crossed everything stays where it should and doesn't postpone and here's hoping a few shows turn into starter shows too.

Good luck everyone for the busy festive season!!!!!
    Hey Donna

You popped up to Scotland and didn't pop in for tea:p (lol)

Anyway how did you enjoy conference - I thought it was the best I've been to!

Loved the new venue and have already rebooked for next year.

I have also booked a fmily holiday to Florida, for next summer holidays but made sure I am back in time for conference! :rotfl:

    I knocked but you weren't in...:rotfl:

I loved conference. My OH was there for the first time and I enjoyed the ball better because he was with me....did you see a man in RAF uniform on the dancefloor..that was him!!

We'll be moving house next June/July but will definitely be at conference, filled in my form at this years and have to agree with you the new venue is fab!!! And what a difference knowing our seat numbers before we went in unlike the usual scrabble for seats!! My friend won £500 gift certificate in the big draw but I got nowt..never mind... I'm aiming for Crete so if I get that then I'll be over the moon!!!! Who else fancies it?

  • I am excited about the new product, and trip, and next year's conference! :j

I've only had 2 parties since I came back from holiday, and my diary only starts to build up towards the end of September... But I definitely want to try to get the points for trip, I've never been on a hot holiday!!

My goal before next conference is to become a unit leader. I would love to have my own team - and I've been super lucky with sponsoring lately, with 4 girls joining! With a bit of luck and some hard work, I'll make it before Xmas - and then I can go to Amsterdam with my UL!!
  • I so love the new catalogue!

Everyone I have sent it to so far have came back with great postive responses, and bookling lots of parties!!!!:j
    :T
Love the different gift packages as well - should be a hit for xmas.

The special offers this month are fab especially the wax packs for the guests, everyone I know are ordering lots of these - hope we don't run out anytime soon!!!!

    Hi,

I am interested in becoming a consultant, I am in the Southampton, New Forest area if anyone could help me or give me some advice on how to get started that would be great!

    Thank You :)
  • Hi does anyone else find that there is not much training and what you are suppose to give free to hostess? Are you suppossed to buy them a gift or is the commison on their party enough. I do hold raffles and buy products that I package and sell - usually makes me another tenner!

Not sure about the best way of adding products to your kit - you don't get great reductions on it and I never get any freebies - any advise would be great.!

tealite, you can get products at 40% discount which I think is pretty good, for example Jamie Oliver give no discount I believe.

Tealite - PartyLite's hostess benefit scheme is fantastic - you do not need to buy them anything for their party - they get % of the sales free in products (depends on sales and the month its being held but usually 15% which is pretty good) - average party in Scotland is £300 so they would get £45 free to spend in the catalogue, they also get exclusive hostess only special offers which are greatly reduced (items that people love as well), then they get the bookings gifts depending on how many aprties are booked at their party - the bookings gifts IMHO are the best!

I however always give me good hostess's a little thank you from me, but not everyone does this and maybe you should wait until well established and making money from it to worry about this.

PartyLite also put on offers all year round to win products to add to your kit.

I use my sponsor rewards to update my kit and I make sure I buy the special offers every month, then sell them on at the end of the month and buy the next lot of special offers.

The training IMHO is the best you can get - it is tailored made for you, either directly one to one, at local meetings, at national meetings, at regional meetings, on the phone, email etc etc, it really is down to you.

You really should be talking to your upline, as she/he would I'm sure me more than happy to guide you.
