Hi again! Just wondering what you guys give your hostesses? Tealights/votives wrapped up, mini barrel jars, lighters, or non-candle things (wine/chocolate etc.)?

I have been giving mine some votives or tealights wrapped up and a lighter, but my leader is getting low on them and I can't seem to find a place on the internet that sells them cheaply enough. So I'm thinking of changing to something else, unless someone knows where I can get hold of cheap lighters!

I buy my lighters in bulk , I get them in boxes of 24 and work out quite cheap. Also the 99p shop and poundland do them quite cheaply if there is one near you

I buy mine from 99p shop, and wrap them up with couple of tealights and minature box of chocolates, and small bottle of of wine (4 for £5 in morrisons).

May I ask where you get yours in bulk? Or is that a secret? :p

I might try the bottle of wine/choccie route for a change though, but I do like the lighters and it seems the hostesses like them too.

I got a freebie today! I saw it on the system as "contest reward", but I didn't know what it was... My leader filled me in so I was excited to wait for it to arrive! I received 3 mini barrel-jars in seasonal fragrances, yum!

I'm also waiting for my Brite Start rewards, I've achieved Fast Track, and both targets in month 1. I'm very pleased, I worked really hard to get those... But it's taking aaaages to come, on the CBC it says "partially shipped" and 2 out of 3 parcels have been shipped, apparently. Could I be more excited???

One of the other leaders in the region gets them for us . Will have to ask her where she gets them from

    Thanks Candlesrus.

I have a question: at a party yesterday one of the guests was interested to join but she's on a visitor's visa (from the USA) until the end of October, with the possibility she will come back to get married to her British boyfriend later.

My leader said it was ok for her to join, but understandably she wants it in writing - if she makes any mistake she will be deported. So I wondered if any of you had experienced this? Also, if I wanted to email head office about it, what address should I use?

    Thanks in advance! x

Not sure about this one to be honest , I would give head office a ring and discuss it with them ( someone like Marion Firth would know ) Might save you lots of typing . It will probably depend on what type of visa this lady has and if it allows her to work .My guess is that if she has a visitor visa , then she will not be permitted to work ...but i could be wrong
