Hi there,
After reading through alot of posts about party plan and looking at some of the different companies I have decided to start Partylite, I have a few of thier products and I love candles. I live in Central Scotland and don't know if there are any consultants in my area, how would I be able to find out? I am starting to get quite excited about this and I haven't even signed up yet!0 -
Has anyone ever tried "happy tapping"? I was thinking of giving it a go, as I have lots of extra catalogues now.
I was thinking of doing it in a kleeneze kind of way - leave a catalogue with an introduction letter, then come back and follow up leads.
Have any of you tried that? If so, what do you write on your letter?0 -

(happy tapping is what we call door knocking), I would do it much more but work 2 jobs at moment so not got the time.
Anyone I have spoke to, who has done happy tapping gets parties and or sponsors.
You are best to go out with someone else, and work together.
We basically done a pretty letter telling them we would be in their area on such a day, and posted it through their door day before giving them notice (not everyone does this), so when we chapped on the doors we were able to feel more confident as they were expecting us, we said things along the lines of wanting to get into this area, spoke to them about quality of our candles, and just generally chatted.
We only did it for 40mins and got 3 parties booked so was worth it.
Go for it - nothing ventured, nothing gained!:TI get paid to party!:rotfl:0 -
Conference is coming Whoop Whoop.:j:j
I am so excited can't wait.
I need to take out a 2nd mortgage for all that I want from the conference shop though
Also looked at the discontined list - so sad sun-kissed cotton is going off, one of my favourites.
What's everyone's guess for trip for next year - mine is Las Vegas!!!!I get paid to party!:rotfl:0 -

I can't believe raspberry & thyme is going...I love it!!!! And the global fusion votive holder - it's such a good seller as is the Brocade Luminary.
Las Vegas would be good.Murphy's No More Pies Club Member No. 680 -
Thanks for your advice on happy tapping, CandleGirl!
I couldn't come to Conference, but now I CAN!!!!!! I'm so excited, can't wait to hear about next year's trip destination and to see the new catalogue!
How do we pre-order things from the shop though? I know someone was asking about it before, but I still don't understand how we can order without a form... I only sent my entry by email this morning (it's very late notice, haha!) so maybe I'm lacking information that you who-have-registered-for-conference-a-long-time-ago have?
