Fantastic wish I could thank you twice (lol)

This is the best bit of advice you will get!

I keep getting told by my leader it is about stickability, and this is true.

This is a BUSINESS you need to work at it, and it does take time to build up a contact base.

I have been doing this for nearly 4 years and can say it is now starting to fall into place, but some people don't have the time, patience or stickability to keep going when things get tough.

It's like playing a round of golf lol . Some players get very excited about the game start off by hitting the ball , but when they don't get a hole in one , they tell themselves they are rubbish at golf and give up , quit and so fail.

The successful players , stand there all day , keep hitting the ball , and eventually one goes in and they get a "HOLE IN ONE" , The fact that the previous 100 balls missed they completely forgot about , so they carry on hitting the ball. The truth is the successful players have in fact had more failure than the quitters , they just stick at it until the succeed .
  • I am wondering if i can bother you all with a ordering question

Show order is for over £165.00 plus one booking - so hostess recieves 15% hostess credit which she has spent.
Now she can then recieve one full priced item at 25% discount.
Can she claim the 25% discount on the full priced item then pay the remainder balance with a gift cert that she already has(she got it from unused hostess credit at her last show)??

  • Hi all,

No, the gift certificate has to be spent on catalogue items. The 25% discount item would have to be paid by cash/chq.card.

  • Sorry last question i promise.

Hostess now has 2 gift certs can she use them both together and does it have to be over a certain amount. Ie so delivery isnt charged?

What it is you see she is saving them up to buy a bigger item that she cannot afford otherwise.

    Thanks & Sorry again

She can use them together and there's no delivery charge for gc's - you can redeem them online.

So long as she spends a minimum of £10 on gift certificates there is no charge , however the date to order products via gift certs in time for christmas has expired , so she now wont get the products in time for christmas. I'm gutted about this as I'm doing a big event this weekend and now can't get P/L to send the products directly

    Thanks for all the advice.

I have set a date - Jan 7th and have asked 45 people. I am leaving it at that until I get the definite no's. I am guessing I should get 7 turning up on the night. I should get everyone to guess with the winner getting bragging rights :rotfl:

I am going to ref through eveything and make a list of questions so I can clear up everything I need to know and have time to go over it. I ordered some candles at the party I originally went to and was thinking about using them for door prizes but the orange sherbert and black cherry ones are too lush.
