  • To all already trading partylite workers....

Is there a problem if I do a party in an old peoples home???? Have a friend who manages one and when I mentioned I was signing up she asked me to hold one there as it gives everyone a nice eve and chance to buy some xmas gifts??????
Its part of a well known chain and she also said she could organise bookings for other areas for me or others etc etc...

Only just enquired about signing up so not sure if there are any specific rules regarding this?????

There should be no problem at all Hannah . We have done quite a few of these events . You can even use it as a fund raiser . Try using a candlepool ( this is a grid of squares which you sell for £2 each . You then award say 50% i.e £1 a square to the charity and the other £1 goes to the winner in partylite products ) . This is also good for doing before any party and the hostess can add the pool money to her sales from her party. p.m me and I will send you a blank template if you want one . At a care home you may find more people will attend if they know some of the money is going to a charity ( for example the home? )

Totally agree, in fact I've found that the older lady likes reed diffusers so you could be on to a winner there!!

yeah definately . I have found out that they also like the simply lavender range and also the scented sachets .:j. Sun kissed Cotton fragrance seems to go down well with them too

  • Yes , ive laminated a few and taken them to partys . It is easier for them to see the range we do . I sold loads of refills and also the mini reeds when they were on offer . The mini reeds are good for on top of bathroom cabinets because they dont take up so much space .

  • How are people doing with this months premotion? I wonder what else will be in the pre xmas hampers? I'm on a diet so gutted that i wont be able to eat any of the chocolate or xmas pud . Is anyone going to the November extravaganzas? They are launching the new Jan 2010 everyday catalogue there . I hope they keep the siena lights going next year , as they are really popular
  • loving this month's promotion - I am also on a diet so when I win this promotion;) will give to the kids :D

I am going to November extravaganza - love this event think it is a mini conference, love seeing the new products and this year it has come to Scotland, although I must say I loved the Rhegged centre - fab shops!

  • I'm going to the one in Hemel Hempstead . Should be a fantastic atmosphere, almost like a mini conference. I think it's a good idea to do various ones throughout the country, it's much better having things more local. It must be a nightmare getting down from Scotland otherwise.
