PartyLite - (Hints & Tips)

Lol , QVC !
I think we need to highlight the difference that our product has over the cheap ones you buy in the shops . I take a cheap one that has burnt all sooty and show them at Partys. I also take the remains of a partylite 3 wick that i have burnt down to a 1cm disc , and show them how well partylite candles burn , and they don't burn down the centre as others do . I explain that other shop bought candles are cheaper , but most of the wax is wasted and has to be thrown away
I never talk about the cost , but highlight the difference in price makes the investment worth it , as you aren't wasting any wax . I usually say " for an extra 3 pounds for a pillar candle you will get a candle that burns better and get no waste so in the end this is better value "
People like to think they are getting good value as well as quality
I sell loads of 3 wicks jars and pillars this way
I focus on what are products will DO rather that what they ARE . As someone told me once imagine the candle is a juicy steak and sell the "sizzle" rather than the steak.
Am I talking any sense or just rambling ? lol:rotfl:0 -
Candlerus - making fab sense.
I do the same at my parties always focusing on how good quality our candles are, for burning are for the environment.
It does infuriate me how well known Yankee are, but that is because they are sold all over the place so much easier access.
We just need to offer any othe candle buyers the chance to see how much better, cleaner and fragrant our products are over any other candles.
I thought Gold Canyon had gone bust?
Anyways so glad we all love the products we sell and genuinely trust the company we work for.
How many people can say that these days?????????I get paid to party!:rotfl:0 -
Oh by the way ive got an idea I want to share with you all
We have a tesco credit card and put all the orders through that ( the ones who pay by cheque or cash ) .Then pay the balance off each month to make sure we don't pay any interest
With the extra vouchers you get from your business plus personal expenditure, spend it on holiday , so if you don't manage to get to Hong Kong , then you can still reward yourself for working hard thanks to PartyLite .
For those of you who don't know , the tesco vouchers you get , you can exchange them for four times the amount against a holiday . See tesco website for details . Using a tesco credit card is the easiest way to earn points ( 1 point for every £1 you spend , so each party of say £200 in orders = £8 towards a holiday , over a year it soon adds up especially if you also add all your personal expenses on the card too )
We've managed to save enough vouchers over the last year to pay for cruise next year , so with a bit of luck will have 2 free holidays.0 -

We will do , but not going now until next year after the HK trip. It will be nice to spoil ourselves as we don't often have time together without the children.
Liz and I are celebrating today as one of our september starters has just qualified today. She was over the moon because it was only her second party and sold £410 and earned herself £80 for an evenings work. :rotfl:0 -

Thats fantastic , glad you like the kit . There are some lovely products in there .
With your starter show make sure you overinvite . send out loads of invites . Remember FRANK , Friends , Relatives , Aquantances , Neighbours and Kids . Make sure you ring them a couple of days before your show to check that they are coming , but also to stress how inportant it is to you as it's your business launch.
I wish you the best of luck , and hope you have a fantastic party .
Let us know how it went :beer:0 -
I did a consultant order last week, but part of it wasn't included in the box with the the wax I ordered. It hasn't arrived separately either. I checked the CBC and it says the order was completed. Should I ring consultant services, or is there an order line I can check with?0
