Hi all , I'm new to this site . My partner is a unit leader , been doing it two years now and the business is booming ( We went to Malta this year 1st trip and we are both working hard to get to Hong Kong )so much so that its hard to keep up! I give my partner lots of support including doing stalls and the occasional party , taking phone calls , deliveries , and most of all looking after the kids whilst she's out . Can I ask a question? What support do you get from your partners , and how do you manage to juggle things around to balance work and home life? Any Tips and Ideas?0

I have 7 kids in total and also work another full-time job.
I am a leader (new leader) and trying to build up my team so I can eventually give up f/t work and spend more quality time at home.
My hubbie is trully fantastic )hope he doesn't read this don't want him to have a big head) but joking aside he really is , he supports me fully and watches our children while I am out working, though I will say I have some help from the eldest kids as they watch the youngest ones as well. My kids ages from 18 down to just turned 3.
At the moment it is very hard to balance anything as trying to build my team and help them build as well, so constantly at fairs, fundraisers etc etc trying to network.
I love this job and know you have to put time and effort into building a business for it to work.
I also have a fab team who are pretty new to this as well and gives me a buzz when one of them achieve something new!
Not so sure if I can help you anymore than say keep doing the fab job you are doing by supporting your partner and come here anytime for support!I get paid to party!:rotfl:0 -
I think this is an excellent business , but sometimes find it hard ( my partner has 27 parties booked between now and end of oct) and what with fairs aswell we dont spend much time in the evening. We had a chat tonight as I feel the need to get out and meet people too and have adult conversation ( i normally stay at home and look after the 4 children ) so i'm joining the business too by doing more parties and doing a lot of the admin. On sat I did a stall locally and got 15 leads for Parties and 3 leads for consultants ( anyone who thinks that doing stalls at pamper evenings etc is a waste of time ...your wrong, as they are a constant source of new business , ensuring that your business is always expanding !).I think I know now just as much as my partner does about the products and this business0

My team have quite a few wedding fairs and autumn fairs booked so we are hoping to get lots more contacts through this method.
One of my girls has now brought her hubbie in as he knows loads about the business because he helps her out so they now work as a team just like you.
Good luck and look forward to meeting you in Hong Kong:TI get paid to party!:rotfl:0 -

Communication key to this business.

Can't wait to go to Hong Kong . Have you seen the Hotel? it's amazing, and looks right over HK harbour and you get a fantastic view of the light show in the evening. Best of all there is a disneyland in HK and ive always wanted to meet Mickey Mouse lol :rotfl:0 -

I haven't spoken to my leader but I'm sure she'll see this, oops I'd better email and tell her I'm not ready to give up yet.

Of course cheeky - that's what I'm here for!
I have just started my own local meetings and they are working as we work together as a team and help each other. There is usually only 3 or 4 of us but much better than working on your own.
We target all local wedding fairs, autumn fairs, fundraisers and local companies we know do open events. We have just started and already reaping the benefits.:jI get paid to party!:rotfl:0 -

Hi GrandmaI have had a few ideas since I made this post and am looking forward to some training. Had a good party last week (£116 in sales, biggest yet, yay) and possibly may have some bookings, got a gift fair booked in November and loads of letters and emails to send out soon. So hopefully it'll pick up now
If I need any help I'll ask as loads of people on here have been really helpful.0 -
Candlegirl , have you been to any of the big shows? I find they cost a lot more but attract loads more people so we split the costs between the team , then do a stint each or in pairs. Its great for training and team building , and any leads we get are split equally. A few days after the event we have a get together and do a phone party! You get such a buzz when one of your team members gets a party booked , and others in the team can see that it is worthwhile doing these events.0
