  • I take lunch from home but sometimes buy extra's which cost £1 to £2.
  • Again, I take good ol' fashioned sarnies - and 500ml of milk for coffee (others provide the coffee, sugar etc.)
My sandwiches are usually of a decent quality since I eat very little in the evenings so I reckon about £1.50 to £2.00 per day.

PS. I save a few pennies by washing out and refilling the milk bottle from a large 6 pinter which is also used at home.
Try saying "I have under-a-pound in my wallet" and listen to people react!

I buy lunch only when I'm too lazy or too late to make a packed one - so let's say a shop-bought one once a week, and home-made one the rest of the time, so it probably averages out at ~£1.50 per day.
Thanks for this very kind giveaway, Wendy! :T

I take a packed lunch every day, but my lunchbox is on its last legs!
    I probably spend around £1.
  • i have to make my wife packed lunch and put it in plastic bag so i need the lunch box to help the environment:money: thank you :T
  • When I take packed lunches to work, it costs £1 absolutely max per day - eg chicken salad wrap, yogurt and fresh fruit. Healthy eating!
  • usually have pitta and bits - or soup - now we have our winter woolies on. So not normally spending more than a couple of pounds. Lunch out with friends once a month - if lucky !:j

I cooked my lunch for the whole week, keep them int he fridge and heat up at lunch time so i would say around not more than £1 per lunch

  • It depends if I'm in or out of the office but usually eat in the work canteen for £2-£3 per day.

I'd definitely make my own lunch, ideally homemade soups so a flask would be cool.
