  • I spend something in the region of 75p - a tin of soup, some homemade bread (god bless the breadmaker) and a piece of fruit.

Probably around £1 to £1.50 if I make my own including an estimate of fuel used if cooked lunch. Otherwise it can get to about £4 if buying in shops at lunch time AND it's always tempting to pop into other shops lol

Oh dear. my downfall is lunch. I really like to make a big deal of my lunch so I go out to buy a sandwich and whatever else. Usually it come to three pounds thirty.

Can i have this so that i can make my own food and take it to work? pleaseee
  • I make my own lunch monday to friday, when i'm working. Tend to spend aprox 50p to £1 depending of whether I make a sandwich, or use leftovers from tea the evening before (such as pasta, lasagne, chilli etc). Much nicer than buying shop bought lunch and you know exactly what you are eating then!

    Hi there,

If I buy my lunch, I spend about £3 - £4 per day. If I take my own it probably costs about £1. I usually take my own.
    Not Buying It 2015 :)
  • I'd say about 80p a day! Unless I treat myself to king prawn sandwiches!

less than 50p as I make it myself.......unless it's a Friday when it'll be £8 as I treat myself in a nice coffee shop!
  • The flask would be ideal for keeping hot dogs warm. Empty the contents of the tin into a pan, warm the hot dogs up and then transfer to the flask.
  • I don't buy lunch every day, but when I do I would spend around £3.50 - £4
