My OH spends approx £3.50-£4 a day cos he works in one of those Two For One places and that's all that's available... hoping one of these lunchboxes will sway him to the cheaper side!

As a stay-at-home-mum, I make a fresh dinner from scratch, costing maybe £2 total. I put an extra portion or 2 in the freezer to give dh for packed lunch the next week.:p

  • Hi, If I,m at home I would probably spend £2- £3 on lunch whether a sandwich or homemade quiche. Out n about would be £5 if not more as drinks are expensive.
I have 3 kids who all have packed lunch with value crisps and cereal bars , sandwich and squash refilled so less than £1 each.

Its the fruit that costs the most. OH is a fruit monster so his is most expensive.

I'm a SAHM and often my lunch consists of my little girls leftovers! She can't always eat a 2 slice sandwich. If she doesn't I have what she doesn't. So could say lunch is free! Then some fruit and a yogurt so generally under £1.
  • i usually take a pack lunch to work so may be 2.50, then i buy a drink at 1 pound. so in total 3.50
  • approximately £4 a day when unorganised but spend nothing when i remember to take in packed lunch....
  • Spend about £2.50 a day sometimes a little less.
