on average for lunch i guess i spend around £3-£4 and that is in a subsidised canteen for a salad!!! If you add in munchies throughout the day its a scary thought and definately one that makes me ponder lunchboxes (if only i had the equipment..hint hint! ) :0)0

How much do you think you spend on lunch every day?
I used to buy food from the school canteen. A set meal, which (taking sausage and mash, for example) consisted of half a sausage, a tablespoon of mashed potato, a tablespoon of peas and some cold water with brown food colouring in it. Lovely and filling for a 15 year old, especially when it costs £1.95.
I got wise to them, so now I take packed lunch, and I take a round of sandwiches, an apple and a carrot. Healthy, and costs less than £1.
So I think I spend about £1 on my lunch =]0 -
I guess mine averages out at around £1.30/day - Monday to Friday.0

Usually depends what I'm up to! Work days I'm quite good & take lunch but days off & out shopping I can get carried away - Usually about a fiver!0

I spend about £5 on lunch when I go out - so packed lunches would save a lot!0
