I reckon I spend less than £1.00 a day if I take a packed lunch which I do most days. Occassionally I will splash out & book a lunch at my work & then I spend the princely sum of £2.20. (I work in a primary school & the lunches are excellent & really good value for money.) :j
  • I too don't usually spend more than £1 for my lunch, I make and take my own food to work or if I'm home I might have soup or an omelette.
  • I reckon I spend around £1.50 on lunch per day - I always try and make sure I make a double portion dinner, and take the rest in next day, and if I don't take it for lunch I freeze it as a standby - takes a bit of organising, but it's well worth it!!

    Hi

I would like to be in with a chance to win a lunch kit.

I usually spend about £3.00 per day on my lunch.
  • I spend around £1.00 each day. I take tap water in a bottle to work, make my own sandwiches and eat the freebies from exhibitions for snacks!
  • When I'm at work I'm really lazy and tend to buy sarnies from the garage or a McD's! (Am a teacher and work through lunch) So lunch can be anywhere up to £50 a week!
(Am new to this money saving lark and have just read what I've written - am horrified!)

    i spend about £2.50
  • I take a supermarket branded soup to work and a buttered bap and a low fat yoghurt so approximately £1.50 but I do lose up to 7 minutes of my lunch break microwaving the soup :A :D
  • I would normally spend about 4-5pounds on lunch. Marks and Spencers can be expensive.
  • I refuse to spend money on days old sandwiches, so usually spend about 50p per day on soup or sarnies that i make myself from the previous days leftovers!
