    About 1.50 via a 'proper packed lunch' - eg cous cous and salad, yoghurt, fruit.

  • I reckon I spend an average of £2.50 a day on lunch.
  • I spend between £1.50 and £2.00 on a sandwich, bring fruit etc from home.

    When you're existing on benefits you can't afford to throw food away. I always check the reduced items in my supermarket to see what bargains I can get for that evenings meal.
  • Probably about £2 a day. I buy a block of cheese, or pot of pate on Monday, with some multipack cripsps, then just buy crusty rolls each day.

    A sandwich or salad from Tescos is usually £2-3.
    But if I'm good I'll make a sandwich or bring leftovers - probably works out at under £1.

    Between £1-£2 every day. Also buy breakfast before work which is £1 a day. Must start making sarnies and taking cereal to work!
