I take my own lunch to work most days, which probably costs between £1 and £2 depending what I take. Sometimes I do have lunch at the canteen though which is nearly £3 for a cooked meal.

my luch is free as i work in a well known restaurant, but i'd like to start taking my own lunch in to be a bit healthier and because I'm vegetarian I get bored of the limited choice of food options available

As little as possible! I eat the left overs from the fridge, home made soup or a sandwich using the ham left from the kids sandwiches, or beans or cheese on toast. Definitely less than £1 a day, often much less.

  • Usually 50p-£1 as a sandwich or something else home-made.

Today I splashed out and spent a massive £4.75 but made sure I got the best deal for my cash :)
  • Please enter me in your draw, thanks
  • No more than £1. I either take a tin of soup and a homemade roll (batches made up and kept in freezer and jar of marmite at work to spread on it) or leftovers from last nights tea to reheat in microwave (roasted veg my favourite -yum!) :D
  • Between £2 and £3 each day
  • 2 Pound per day on lunch
