  • Yum Yum,

Somedays I buy lunch other days I take a packed lunch. But still have to buy tea and coffee.

So I worked out an average I spend £3-£4 a day on lunch :(

I make lunch every day for my husband already - but I need one of these kits as 3 weeks ago (for the first time ever!) he left his messenger bag on the train and we lost his lunch kit - tupperware etc.

Of course, it is going to cost more to replace the bag and the lost ipod (nobody has turned the bag in) but every little helps (in the words of one famous supermarket who is trying to take over the world!)

He had to buy lunch that day for the first time and, being in Central London, he got 25p change out of £5.00!!! He really began to appreciate his packed lunch more after that!!!:o
  • If I bring it myself, less than a pound. If I buy it, £3-4 easily.
  • I spend about £1 on my lunch as I make it myself, using eggs from my chickens!
  • If I take my own lunch it probably costs less than £1, about £2-2.50 if I buy a sandwich/salad from the sandwich van at work (when I don't get up in time to make my own), but nothing at all if it's a colleagues birthday or we have visitors as the company pays for lunch out! :D
  • I spend £3.00 a day on my lunch and I'd love a packed lunch kit!

  • Probably about a £1-£2 per day...never really thought about it before - just enjoy eating it :)
  • I spend about £4 a day, really need to start taking my own with the credit crunch now..!!
  • It depends - if the fruit is of good quality! Between £2.50 for a daily special but £3.50 for a special with two bits of fruit!!
  • I would spend roughly £5 on lunch:rotfl:
