  • I spend around £2 to £3 a day on lunch also give my 2 children £2.50 for lunch at school.
so that totals at £37.50 a week.
This lunch time kit would save me load of money as we could all take a pack lunch.
  • I spend about 50p per day as I only have a slice of toast and some tea!!! Well sonmedays i will have a trifle and some days a biscuit!!!
  • Have been receiving the MSE emails for some time but this is my first post!

Am well into freebies and competitions in these credit crunched times but so far have won not a sausage. Hoping to be lucky with the lunchbox!

We (three of us) all take a packed lunch now which has reduced our joint costs from about £7.40 a day to about £3.00 a day. We use salad and fruit from the garden to keep our 5 a day quota up and my son is eating better in terms of quantity and quality since stopping school dinners.

    Long live MSE :j
  • Hi, Well my lunch-time spend depends where i am! It can be anything from a couple of apples & satsumas, to a nice pub roast! Over the course of last week, it cost 20.98, so that is about £3 per day!
The REAL question should ALSO ask about Dinner (eve meal), as I suspect that this varies depending on what one eats for lunch!
