I bring a packed lunch which costs no more than £1 a day.
If I oversleep and have to buy lunch, then that would be the very precise figure of £2.02 being spent in the canteen.0 -

I usually have lunch at home with my husband - jacket potato, soup, cheese on toast... so about about £1 each. My son has a school dinner for about £2 and my 2 daughters take packed lunches which work out at about £1.50 each.
Lunch for the 5 of us totals at about £7.
Hmmm.... that doubles on a tuesday when I have lunch out with friends !
Ouch ! I hadn't realised lunchtime was so expensive. It is cheaper at the weekend when we all have homemade soup and homemade bread rolls etc.0 -

Hi
Just signed up. Hi Everyone!
I spend about £1 per day for my son's packed lunch. About the same when I take a packed lunch to work. This does sepend on if I have leftovers or if I treay myself to something special. If I eat in the staff canteen a cooked lunch and pudding costs on average £1.40
My son takes a sandwich, 2 frubes (or similar), 2 pieces of fruit, a small cake and a drink.
