I spend at least £2 a day on lunch during the week. I really need to cut down on this spend, but my daily walk to the local supermarket is good excercise!

there are 4 of us for lunch (always packed lunch) so probably £3-£4 a day

i'm always driving with my job so stop and buy lunch maybe £5 a day £20 a month!! with the credit crunch sandwiches are the way forward :beer:

I try to avoid buying lunch out as it costs me £15 - £5 for lunch and £10 for the CD that I don't need!

We got free lunch every day (worth £9) where I worked previously, so it cost me nothing for two and a half years, but where I will be working this is not the case, so it will be back to looking for sub-£1 options.

I make soup at home, freeze it and bring it to work daily. Saves money and tastes good!:j We grow many of our own vegetables so put them to good use.

The canteen at uni doesn't seem very subsidised, so as a student I thought the sandwiches expensive, so I take my own lunch, probably £1/day. However, I love my cups of tea, so at 80p a pop that's expensive. Any suggestions gratefully folks, cheers muchly.
