  • Probably around 50p a day:

Bread is home made (using the bread machine) and costs about 50p per loaf, using supermarkets basics marg, cheese, tomatoes and mayo as filling, and a piece of basics fruit and a snack. - keeps me going until dinner!
  • These days, it's a slice of toast and half a can of value-brand beans or spaghetti! I reckon that's about 10p?! :rotfl:

  • Hi there,
I'm spending around £4.50 per day on lunch. This would include a sandwich, drink and an item of fruit. It does mount up to a significant amount every month!

    Newshound!
I take a packed lunch usually costs about £1.00 unless I top up with some treats at the local shop!!!
  • I try to save money at lunch time but find that the other girls in the office go put and buy take aways. This then leaves a lovely tempting smell in the room and I'm afraid to say that I am tempted and end up forking out between £3.00 to £5.00 for lunch. Need the lunch time saver to bring in my own healthy packed lunch. Hopefully here's to the new slimmer me.
