I always make my own lunch so it depends on whether I'm using up leftovers or starting from scratch, but certainly no more than £1 a day0

If I'm out and about, I'll take a home-made roll and marmite, a couple of pieces of fruit and a re-used bottle of filtered water from the tap to have as a little packed lunch, costing in total, around 70p maximum. When at home, I might have a jacket potato and some left-overs, with a bit of salad or jacket potato and baked beans or quiche and salad - probably costing between 50p and 70p. Yum!0

I spend £30

During the week I have school dinners and they're really good and well-balanced. During half-term (coming up - yippee!) and the other holidays it will be home-made soup or a salad; shop-bought bread, though. I suppose £2.50 to £3.00, sometimes less.0

I think I spend about £2 a day on my lunch, which I make at home and take to university with me. I go to Sainsbury's/Tesco in the weekend and spend about £10 on food to last me a week; this includes drinks, yoghurt, bread, sandwich fillers, crisps and chocolates. I also take a traveller's mug with me to make my own tea
A packet lunch kit would be brill, cos I only have one lunchbox and it's falling to bits

I take HM lunch nearly every day. Probably costs about £1 since we now make our own bread (yum). So a freebie lunch kit would be very handy............................:rotfl:0

Average about £1.80. Usually i take sandwiches, or leftovers from tea the night before, but sometimes I treat myself to a cheap and cheerful Thai meal for £3.20

I try to take food to work as many days as possible which means my tupperwear is wearing out. I think in a week I spend about £3.00 on food at work which I am still disgusted at as I lso do a week ly shop for home and should be able to cover this but we have a not hot food at desk policy.:eek:0
