  • hi, we all eat packed lunches in our family to save money. i guess we spend about £5 per day, this sounds alot but cheaper than buying pre packed lunches. This lunch pack would come in very handy:j good luck all.
  • I think i dont spend more than £1 which includes a fruit , homemade bread , salad, curry and rice sometimes !
  • I spend on average £1 - £1.25 pre day on lunch I prepare at home and take to work. Salads, rolls, soups or left over dinners. Aren't stews so much better the day after?
  • I spend £2.99 on a meal deal
  • ooh, i'm obsessed with food containers. I spend about a £1 on lunch as always take leftovers with fruit and yoghurt.
  • £2 each day (3 kids!)
  • First post so hope it works (and I get a lunch pack!). HM pack ups to bring in to work for me at approx £1, and they're yummy too!

If I make lunch at home, I think the ingredients tend to come out about £2, but I'll often treat myself to a work coffee or yoghurt so nearer £3.

If I get lunch in the canteen it's normally £4-£5.
  • I try to take own lunch to work and make always make packed lunches for the kids - hence a lot cheaper than buying. Got to keep the costs down.
