I reckon I spend an average of £2.50 a day on lunch.0

I spend between £1.50 and £2.00 on a sandwich, bring fruit etc from home.0

When you're existing on benefits you can't afford to throw food away. I always check the reduced items in my supermarket to see what bargains I can get for that evenings meal.0

Probably about £2 a day. I buy a block of cheese, or pot of pate on Monday, with some multipack cripsps, then just buy crusty rolls each day.0

A sandwich or salad from Tescos is usually £2-3.
But if I'm good I'll make a sandwich or bring leftovers - probably works out at under £1.0 -
