Good to see the 7pm update from ING . . . . but I do notice, STILL, that there is equivocation: viz:- "we would expect these to start arriving in the destination bank account on Friday 24 October."

Really, at this horribly late stage I'd prefer "will" rather than "expect".

It's good that ING might have found the problem, and might have found a solution . . . but we've been here before.

The poll is a good idea but is it possible for me to vote again? I hadn't received my money, and now I have. Can I change my vote to signify success at last? If so, how?
I'm a bit thick (and drunk) after getting the money through at 5pm today.

Thanks to everyone and I'm hoping that you all get yours within hours. Nationwide insist that payments are made during the night.

For fear of wading through 42 pages of posts.......

now the CHAPS payments are going through as BACS payments, does that mean we are still going to be charged £20 for a so far 13 day transfer??

Like many here, I've been waiting to see whether my money would magically reappear. Having just checked my bank I'm pleased to report that it has arrived in my account. This was from a CHAPS transfer requested on 08 Oct 08 in case anyone is interested.

I can also log onto my Kaupthing account and note that the cheeky b_uggers have charged me £20 for the CHAPS transfer .... which only took 12 days!!

Fingers crossed for those of you still waiting .......

ING promise that CHAPS fees will be repaid. I believe them, though not sure why. They also say we'll get interest on 'lost' money.

I wonder how many people have actually left their money in the KE account? The poll should ask this... I'd like to know if most people panicked and shifted their money to other places.

And it will be interesting to see what interest KE give at the end of the month too.

Money does seem to be flowing in now... Glad that Martin L has got involved too!
