I cant believe my monster of a thread has been closed!!

On a more serious note, Ive still not received my money (CHAPS on 7th at 7:40pm) into my A&L account.

Ive not got the time to read through all the new posts, hope others have started to get paid!

Thanks for starting this invaluable thread, I don't know where I would have been without all the continuing support you are all giving to me still, just checked my account, still nothing :(
  • I requested a CHAPS on 10/10 and have received the 5% email.

I called this morning and was told that any future BACS/CHAPS would go through without delay so I requested another CHAPS this morning and guess what.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to all on this forum who've kept me sane, and for everyone's hard work in getting this sorted. :T

I am STILL waiting for my £35K. I think ING Direct need to know that if we do not receive our money very soon or precise and ACCURATE information instead of lies, that savers like us will initiate a panic that will inevitably cause a run on the bank and its collapse. That might concentrate their minds.

    Please stop being a plank!
  • OK all us A+L people. Mine's arrived so I hope yours comes soon!!!!!
CHAPS out 8 Oct KE - received 20 Oct A+L
    Still here for moral support.

If there are only a few left why can't ING give an email address or dedicated phone number and promise to sort out each one individually?

I have sent them a message 3 times now over the past couple of weeks and have still not received a single personalised reply to my complaints. This is extraordinary behaviour for anyone in a service industry, never mind a bank. With every hour that goes by they lose more of our trust and confidence in their ability. Anyone can keep people happy when things are going well. It is only in the difficult times that we really get to see whether they are up to the job or not. So far we have the following:
    1. Large sums of money disappearing without any explanation whatsoever.
    2. Failing to abide by the CHAPS/24 hour guarantee on the website.
    3. Failing singularly to respond to complaints.
    4. Making a guarantee that things would be sorted out and then failing to abide by it.
    5. Failing even to respond publicly to their broken promises.
