How can you say that - you are one of an army of people and the army is still here and fighting AND WINNING. You cant wave the white flag on your own - doesn't work like that.

Very well said...come on SteepPip we are all behind you.
  • SteepPip you said shoulder to shoulder when you logged on, get the chocs out Steep, we are all with you .
  • An Englishman was being tried on a charge of being drunk and disorderly. The judge asked him where he had purchased the Whisky. "But I didn't buy it, your Honour," said the Englishman. "A Scotsman gave it to me." "28 days for perjury." replied the judge. :rotfl:

Thanks for your support guys, and I know you are right, but just can't seem to shake it off today. Don't want to bring you all down because you are all doing so brilliantly will get large glass of coffee and sulk for a while that will help. Good luck for everyone else.

    xx
Try wine - you wont sulk then
  • Hey SteepPip, if it's not nigh on imposible in this situation a good sleep will really help. Everything seems so much worse when you are sleep deprived.
  • An Englishman, an Irishman and a Scotsman were standing looking at a prize cow in a field.

The Englishman says "Look at that fine English cow."
The Irishman disagreed, saying "No, it's an Irish cow."
The Scotsman thought for a moment and then clinched the argument. "No, it's a Scottish cow - it's got bagpipes underneath!

To those who still haven't received CHAPS payments yet - have you made sure that the linked account into which you were hoping to receive that payment wasn't one in which the sort code for BACS payments and CHAPS payments is different? In other words, have you ever had any CHAPS payments from any other organisation into your linked account at all?

This worries me, I have no idea. I've never transferred any money into that account before by BACS or CHAPS.
  • Nowadays the Scots do not play bagpipes to frighten their enemies, they do it to annoy their neighbours.

    Boom Boom!!

Ok guys, I give up the depression is setting in, not bad for nearly 3 weeks, but it's all becoming too much. Fed up with hearing the spiel from KE staff, fed up with being cheery about it. Just completely had enough...sorry to be a party pooper but enough is enough.

Spoke to my bank, got irritating person, phoned KE got irritating person, asked for Supervisor just irriated me. How much longer guys!

I feel exactly the same way. I am tired of logging into 2 accounts 3 times a day to see what is happening. My wife is tired of hanging on the phone to KE and hearing the same old story.

We requested the CHAPS 3 weeks ago today and the funds still haven't been transferred. It doesn't feel very safe when we can't get to it.

We’ve all been there and are rooting for you. Have a good night’s sleep. I haven't felt more confident than I feel this week, since the start of this nightmare.
