Morning all, I hope everyone is well.

Only just managed to get on as mse apparently has a glitch. :(

How has everyone's weekend been? Had a really nice time with friends on Friday around a bonfire, Queen were totally amazing on Saturday :):):), and yesterday took part in two remembrance parades. So been busy, but has been excellent. Now have a lot of catching up to do.

Hugs tmk hope everything sorts itself out.

    Mmm toast, thanks!
Life is all about the journey.
  • Hugs to everyone who needs them, especially TMK!!

Same old crap: I am cold, broke and not winning stuff!! On the plus side I am eating like a queen today thanks to yellow stickers: 50p scallops, 30p green beans and 10p for a 5kg bag of potatoes!! I had venison the other day for £1.
  • I've just typed out a big story about this morning and mse went and crashed and deleted it all

Anyway, to cut a long story short, been to see doc and he said he's happy for her not to take the anti b's, he doesn't want her to go into hospital, she is able to fight the infection herself! :j :j I'm so pleased and relieved but worried about what will happen next time though. :(

Glad to hear that she will not have to go into hospital, and that she can fight it off herself, and dont worry about next time at the moment, just one thing at a time..

:rotfl: I know I shouldn't be thinking about next time but I suppose its hard not to. She goes to pre-school now and will come home with all sorts of horrible bugs, especially over winter!

Littleholly....glad your doc put your mind at rest.....Dont worry about her coming home with bugs when she goes to pre-school...Sophie started Reception in September full time after doing 2 years at Nursery...She was only ill once and having alot of kids as TMK will tell you One gets it and they all do....So I'm glad she's not picked anything up yet...I dont honestly think I have ever seen her be sick..I think it would upset me so much being the youngest :o Sometimes its not always the case...Glad your ok and the LO...:D

They do and my son was always getting ill about every 6 weeks and started reception class last year, and having no siblings made it worse as nogerms to catch, but has started year 1 this year and touch wood so far seems a lot better, taken a year of mixing and catching bugs to settle down, and he would not take medicines when he was smaller but touch wood can at long last get him to take them
