OMG your right!! I can laugh now but I could easily have stiffened someone. It'd be nasty sis!!! Once again she proves me right. Not only does she work yards from mum's house and is a boss in the shop so could have easily nicked out to see for herself, but her youngest is a policeman. But did she go round or phone him, no chance, lazy cow. No, I phone Billy and we go all the way through there. Nice sis is at her work worrid sick and my brother who is in very poor health trudges over as well. GRRRR!!!! *calm down, you're getting worked up again*

Anyhoo, thanks again everyone. Bella hun, hope today improves for you, was gonna text you this morning when all this hoohah broke out. and easter, my eldest suffered night terrors for years and did exactly what you described your daughter doing. Bet she remembers nothing in the morning either. Jamie used to pinch my face screaming take the mask off (its very funny now!!!!!!!!) but he was sure I was a monster and couldn't recognise me either. Thankfully he grew out of them and happened less and less often. Your doing exactly what I did in holding her tight. (((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))) to all xxx

  • easter - my Thomas used to have really bad night terrors that would go on for 40 minutes at a time, just screaming, crying & thrashing about.

The more we tried to talk to him or hug him, the more berserk he used to get!
In the end the only way we could calm him down was to sit on the floor next to his bed, not talking to him and then as he slowly came out of the terror he saw that we were there, and then wanted a cuddle.

He's only just grown out of them & he's 5.

tmk, glad everything is ok xxx

had a word with the headteacher at lo's nursey to find out what happened on friday, and it seems that they were playing with torches in the dark cloakroom and lo went out the outside door instead of going into the nursery, the main door is meant to be locked and why didnt they realise one of the kids wasnt there!

so headteacher really sorry that this happened and has had a word with the staff to get them to lock the door!!

least he was into the little kiddies playground which he couldnt have gotten out of, if it had been the other side then that is completely open, onto the road etc

feeling bit calmer now, the nursery teacher never apologised though, we were talking to her about something else and she never brought it up, we had said all we had to to the headteacher but a mention from her wouldn't have gone amiss!!

    anyway hi to everyone:D
